halfdelay -- control input character delay mode

Synopsis

int halfdelay(int tenths);

Description

The halfdelay(3curses) function sets the input mode for the current window to Half-Delay Mode and specifies tenths tenths of seconds as the half-delay interval. The tenths argument must be in a range from 1 up to and including 255.

Return value

Upon successful completion, halfdelay(3curses) returns OK. Otherwise, it returns ERR.

Errors

No errors are defined.

Usage

The application can call nocbreak(3curses) to leave Half-Delay mode.
