first of all : I'm a real newbie in unices systems.

I've just had a new hpux shell account. I can now log on ftp, ssh, etc. That's very pleasant.
There is just one thing that I don't really understand. When I log on a ssh session. I use my username conux and my password as defined in the form for the template account. That works. But, once into the shell, the whoami(1) command tell me : awklearn. The base folder is conux, and finger(1) tell me that I am conux. But if I ls -l, I read that my username is awklearn... How can I fix it and "carry" my name conux ?

sorry for late reply... seems your post have been simple forgotten

The problem was that the system assigned same user id for two different usernames.
This caused the problem.

It is fixed now.
