2006.09.21 Vote for polarhome.com at serverroomservice.se - server room with most points will win some high end hardware that would really improve polarhome's performance... please help and vote for polarhome once per day during next month.

...For us non-swedish speakers, could we have a translation of what's wanted, please.?

you have right... this page is very much Swedish and "flashy", that much that it is not possible to translate with a translation tool.

In short: these guys last year organized a "pimp-my-rack" site where the worst rack were choosen and upgraded. This year they organize server-room-service site with same philisophy but much less popularity (so far). Therefore I thought that it would be a good chance for polarhome to get a new UPS, new rack and a nice web server (sun fire).

They will choose three winners and the grand prize will be awarded to worst site 31st of October.

What can we do... we can vote for polarhome (or any other competitor who deserves) under BIDRAG (contibutions). Try to find polarhome.com and vote.

It would be really nice and usefull, if we would get the grand prize.

To be honest... I just read the "prize" related text and realized, that user votes are counts just for 3rd and the 2nd price (some cameras). The grad prize is awarded by the jury and no public sympathy points matter.

Sorry, but seems that our votes are actually useless.

I'll remove the event link and we just may hope to win jury's sympathy as polarhome is.

I'd keep the link. I'm sure the jury will consider also based on number votes too. The jury represent the public imo.
