UnrealIRCD Help?

Hi,

Recently I started playing around with the shell and started to install UnrealIRCD on it - I have managed to complete all of the steps up until the bit where I have to ./unreal start.

When I do this I get

* Loading IRCd configuration ..
* unrealircd.conf:143: listen with SSL flag enabled on a non SSL compile
* Configuration loaded without any problems ..
* Dynamic configuration initialized .. booting IRCd.

The OS enforces a limit on max open files
Hard Limit: 64 MAXCONNECTIONS: 100
Fix MAXCONNECTIONS
Possible error encountered (IRCd seemily not started)


I was wondering if there was anything I could do?

* unrealircd.conf:143: listen with SSL flag enabled on a non SSL compile

you enabled SSL support on your Listen Block (Previously known as the P:Line) in unrealircd.conf but you don't compile the ircd with SSL support.

either recompile the ircd with SSL support or try disabling the SSL on your listen block.

thats because you recompile your ircd without a correct file descriptor. try recompiling the ircd with a correct file descriptor ure shell provider supplied you or use 100 as your file descriptor while recompiling.
