Joining the Force, soon. very soon.

Right so, here's the deal;

As some of you [might] know, at the end of this month [26.12.05, right before New Year's, and a day before my grandma's birthday] i'm leaving home to join the IDF [this was not by choice, i must say], i'll be in boot camp for exactly 3 months starting that day, the first two weeks i won't be at home at all.

That pretty much means the end of my "forum helper guy" career-thing [although i haven't been much of a helper recently anyways, due to my 10hour/day job].

So yeah, just thought you should know. [those that care]

I'm trying to get my old domain back, and start a blog or something so that i can keep my friends updated while i'm gone, i'll update this thread if i succeed doing that before i leave.
I'm also gonna get some 3G internet so i can use msn/icq from my mobile, no promises there though, that stuff is expensive >_<

At worst case, if you just heard that a bus full of wannabe-soldiers just exploded in israel or something, and u wanna check if i was in it - af00n has my mobile phone #.

So yeah, wish me luck. or something >_<

P.S
zoli, where's that beer you promised in november ? ;)

Thanks guys :)

wap is pretty inexpensive in israel [9nis per 100mb traffic], but regular 3G Internet is 79nis per 150mb. quite a price difference ;)
And it seems that very few [if any] programs for Symbian actually support internet thru a wap gateway, clients for icq/msn - don't. so to get those working on my Nokia 6680 i have to get the expensive 3g internet package.

BTW zoli, the regular horde client looks much better on a mobile phone than that "special wap edition"

Thanks mike, i'm not really worried about the long term, but those friggin 3 months of "Tironut", which just happen to include my grandma's birthday and christmas [like i already said]. that's the part that saddens me.

Come to think of it, it's the first time in 18 years of my life that i won't be spending new year's with my family.

Blah.

Well i'm leaving tomorrow morning, so this would be my final msg :)

Not saying goodbye, but a see you later :-)
