Shell account for how long and CVS ?

Postby Chetan » Mon Sep 26, 2005 7:03 am

Hello:

The site says - "It costs a symbolic 10 local currency units per username, per host... " and this is for what period a Year/Lifetime ?

Secondly, I want to setup CVS and connect to sourceforge.net to download some files and work on them (All I need is C/C++/perl and Bash).

Is it possible to get this infrastructure on NetBSD?

Thanks.

Hi,

Yes it is 10 local units for lifetime (or until ISP shut polarhome down due to bad users).

CVS "should" be installed, but I don't have a shell on netbsd to check, and connection to sf would be fine provided you set up a public key for it.

Regards,

sjaz.

hi,

... this means, actually, polarhome's lifetime.
No promises, no expectation, no guarantee.
polarhome services are provided "AS IS" as long "IS".

NetBSD has all what you need with 20M user disk quota - currently.
Regards,
Z
