Hi.
Maybe you know about it or maybe not... anyway I will briefly present it to you.
Quote:
polarhome.com is non commercial, educational effort for popularization of shell enabled operating systems and Internet services, offering shell accounts, mail and other online services on all available systems (currently on Linux, OpenVMS, Solaris, AIX, QNX, IRIX, HP-UX, Tru64, FreeBSD, OpenBSD and NetBSD ).
...by time polarhome.com became a demo site for Linux power and other Unix like systems popularization; symbol of online freedom, speech, feelings, activities and multiplatform open source development.
I'm using it's services for more than a year now and I say - without any axaggeration - that the guys there are doing a wonderfull work. The only problem is that Polarhome has only one IP and you know what that means when we're talking about so many systems.
My question is: is there any chance that Undernet's admins give Polarhome I-lines?
Website: www.polarhome.com
Forum: www.polarhome.com/forum/
Contact: support@polarhome.com
PS: Polarhome already has I-line on IRCnet, DALnet, Quakenet and GRNet. It would be awfully nice to have on Undernet too
Well, it depends of the server admin. To see the Undernet server list go HERE ( http://www.undernet.org/servers.php ). There are mentioned some of the server admins. To find more info about the admin of a server, connect to it and type /admin . Don't forget to check the /MOTD first, since some servers include "Do not ask for I:lines" in their motd. Note that an I:line is not network-wide, it applies to the server where it is set only. Good luck.
Best Regards,
Mit.
