Question about BNC

Ok I just signed up and have the shell account registratin ready to send out. I just had a question regarding BNC. If I install will I be able to make my own vhost? I'm new to using bnc so I may not be using the right terms. But basically if I wanted "polar.home.rocks.my.box" to show up when someody does whois to me in irc could I using the bnc access from polarhome?
