Yeh so here i am, sitting, reading my mail. and suddenly i see gkrellm reporting that my proc are rising by 100 a second.
[from a steady 120 too a blazing 350 in two seconds]

luckily, my router is very easy to shut down. and so i did.

10 minutes later, the machine was still going "omg wtf?!!?!?". by the time i had access to the console, my load avgs were in the 80's region.

The offender? some ****head who decided to flood apache.

So, all of my dear mandrake users. you have that ****head to thank for your site being down in the next few days.

And as far as you go, you son of a *****, i have your ips logged. and since you live in israel, i will be making a few phone calls to bezeqint [your isp, ****] this evening.
prepare to have your ass handed to ya on a silver plate. you grandmother******.

P.S. in case someone gets suspicious - (i) no it was not me, and (ii) from bitter experience it could have been some unknowing eejut with a virus (been there, had that done to me)

Yeh i'm displeased. but i also have a very threatning voice.

I called up bezeqint yesterday, and they said that they'll disable his account.
[after i threatened them with a lawsuit for about 10 minutes].

So, gun or not, i got my revenge

LOL, MikeR, of course it was not you!

Now Denis, when you have a server these things happen, but sometimes people are dumb enough to harm a non-profit user that gives free hosting! What can we say, there is nothing that I can do to make me be in that guys mind.
But here US'ers voted for Bush, so I guess all this TV and stuff make people dumber than before, while as humans evolve they should be smarter.
