Annoying messenger service POPUP Ads

How many of you got bombed by these messenger service ads. . .
(all win systems) heard that later service packs got the fixes.
I don't have service pack 2 nor 1 with patches.
but if these popups keep coming, , ,
Try this.
run > services.msc > when local services window opens > find messenger and double click > and choose disabled & stop > OK.
And you will never see another messenger popup.

run cmd: type > NET SEND <TARGET COMPUTER ADDRESS> <Messege(popup ads making me crazy)>

It has been disabled since SP1a afaik

And if someone isn't running SP1a, he should be shot :P

May be am a primitive(got lost :) ) one but I have a system like a rock=well configured. for example i did above method on my winXP. haha
Come on! it can't be all the ppl is uptodate expect me!!??

With all that blaster and 50 milion bugs that microsoft have fixed, running a non-patched XP is like dancing in a mine field
