Pascal trouble (IA64)

Postby papa » Sat Apr 15, 2017 3:20 am

The Pascal compiler executable seems to be missing, or at least not where the system expects it to be, on OpenVMS/IA64:

Code: Select all
PAPA@ia64$ pascal hellop.pas
%DCL-W-ACTIMAGE, error activating image PASCAL
-CLI-E-IMAGEFNF, image file not found IA64$DKA0:[SYS0.SYSCOMMON.][SYSEXE]PASCAL.EXE;

Directory [sys0.syscommon.sysexe] looks like it contains .EXE files for all the other system executables, but not PASCAL.EXE.

Fixed

Code: Select all
SYSTEM@ia64$ pascal /version
HP Pascal I64 V6.1-116 on OpenVMS I64 V8.4
SYSTEM@ia64$ dir SYS$SYSTEM:PASCAL.EXE

Directory SYS$COMMON:[SYSEXE]

PASCAL.EXE;1

Total of 1 file.

Z
