Services Down

Postby nullcompiler_solaris » Sun Jun 26, 2016 5:00 am

When trying to use usermin and phpmysql on solaris i encounter the following error message:
This site can?t be reached

http://www.polarhome.com refused to connect.
Try:

Reloading the page
Checking the connection
Checking the proxy and the firewall
Check your internet connection.

Check any cables and reboot any routers, modems, or other network
devices you may be using.
Allow Opera to access the network in your firewall or antivirus settings.

If it is already listed as a program allowed to access the network,
try removing it from the list and adding it again.
If you use a proxy server...

Check your proxy settings or contact your network administrator to
make sure the proxy server is working. If you don't believe you should
be using a proxy server: Go to the Main menu > Settings > Change proxy
settings... > LAN Settings and deselect "Use a proxy server for your
LAN".

As i can post this on the forums my internet is working fine. I also tried http://solaris.polarhome.com:81/ and http://www.polarhome.com:728/ to no avail. Also Server Status(http://www.polarhome.com/service/status/) shows all the services on the solaris server with the exception of ftp, IPv6, ping, ssh and telnet down.

I am sorry... the polarhome servers are in terrible state. I am aware most of the issues - because the whole polarhome is monitored by nagios.
My only excuse is that I work a lot nowadays and simply do not have time to maintain the hosts - but I started to shorten the TODO list also the administartion will be shared very soon.

I am sorry.
Regards,
Z
