ALPHA password expiration

Sorry to have been away from Polarhome.

This morning I logged-on to ALPHA for the first time in several months and the system informed me my password had expired and required me to set a new one. No problem, but I don't remember ALPHA or any of the other Polarhome hosts expiring passwords before. Is it a recent setting change?

I haven't set password expiration on any host.
I'll check and disable on alpha if it is explicity set (by some mistake)
