Software request for Debian+Netbsd: libpcre (and tintin++?)

On a separate but related quest, I'm trying to build the MUD client tintin++ on Debian and ran into a dependency on libpcre. Could you install that, too, please?

(I've also tried setting up libpcre in my own account, but the tintin++ configure program can't find my personally-installed pcre.h.)

Come to think of it, tintin++ is something other Debian users might use. I would have no objections if you install it for the whole Debian server, too.

UPDATE: The configure error indicates that I need the development version of libpcre, which I think means libpcre3-dev. Also, while you've got your magic install wand out, could you install the same libpcre development package on Netbsd, too?

NetBSD: has already pcre-8.33

On Netbsd, running TINTIN++ configure script still stops on error:

configure: error: pcre header file not found, is the development part present

However, since I have it running on Debian there's no need to build on Netbsd at present, so feel free to not pursue this any further.
