pthread_equal()

Compare two thread IDs

Synopsis:

#include <pthread.h>

int pthread_equal( pthread_t t1,
                   pthread_t t2 );

Arguments:

t1, t2
The thread IDs that you want to compare. You can get the IDs when you call pthread_create() or pthread_self().

Library:

libc

Use the -l c option to qcc to link against this library. This library is usually included automatically.

Description:

The pthread_equal() function compares the thread IDs of t1 and t2. It doesn't check to see if they're valid thread IDs.

Returns:

A nonzero value
The t1 and t2 thread IDs are equal.
0
The thread IDs aren't equal.
