Return a little-endian 64-bit value in native format
#include <gulliver.h> uint64_t ENDIAN_LE64( uint64_t num );
libc
Use the -l c option to qcc to link against this library. This library is usually included automatically.
The ENDIAN_LE64() macro returns the native version of the little-endian value num.
The native-endian value of num.
Convert a little-endian value to native-endian:
#include <stdio.h> #include <stdlib.h> #include <gulliver.h> #include <inttypes.h> int main( void ) { uint64_t val = 0x1234deadbeef5678; printf( "0x%016llx = 0x%016llx\n", val, ENDIAN_LE64( val ) ); return EXIT_SUCCESS; }
On a big-endian system, this prints:
0x1234deadbeef5678 = 0x7856efbeadde3412
