If your board doesn't have an integrated ROM monitor, you may not be able transfer your
image over a serial or TFTP connection. You'll have to use some other method instead,
such as:
- CompactFlash — copy the image to a CompactFlash card plugged into your
host, then plug the card into your board to access the image.
Or:
- Flash programmer — manually program your flash with an external
programmer.
Or:
- JTAG/ICE/emulator — use such a device to program and communicate with your
board.
