Show Virtual Memory Statistics

The vmstat command reports statistics about processes kernel threads, virtual memory, disks, trap and CPU activity. Reports generated by the vmstat command can be used to balance system load activity.

SECONDS between samples

Specifies the amount of time in seconds between each report.


NUMBER of samples

If the Count parameter is specified, the value of Count determines the number of reports generated at interval seconds apart.
