403 Forbidden?

Hey, I am a user of redhat.polarhome (:D a wonderful service) Recently when access is attempted to my page the following error is given:

Forbidden

You don't have permission to access /~drip/ on this server.

Additionally, a 403 Forbidden error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
Apache/2.0.40 Server at www.polarhome.com Port 793

I had the inkling to look at my http conf but when I attempt to log in via FTP I recieve a 500 OOPS! and am unable to complete negotiations with the server.



A perplexing dillema to be sure, but do any solutions exist?

2005.05.27 redhat's disk that holds home partitions is damaged. It will be, most probably, replaced during the weekend. Until that, the server is either dow or very instable
