connection refused

Postby xeiter » Mon May 02, 2005 7:33 am

hi, I am having troubles connecting to the redhat server (gate.polarhome.com 792). I keep getting a connection refused error. I can't connect to any other servers either. I get the same error. I tried all protocols like telnet, ssh, shh2....same error.

If I go to a web browser and type in gate.polarhome.com it works.

my connection details are:

You use IPv4.
Hostname : 154.23.233.220.exetel.com.au
IP address: 220.233.23.154

my username is xeiter. I was movied from the Mandrake server and I use SecureCRT....I tried Putty - did not help :(

Please advise on what I am doing wrong.

I have also problems with different services from time to tome but there is nothing we can do.
Polarrhome has be a mess since the ISP cut the ADSL line with the static ip.
I'm afraid we have to wait until Zoli finds a solution.

Just wait until it gets fixed.
SSH and FTP seem to be back. Mail is still down.

sorry... IP addresses are changing all the time and moves here and back because of load balancing.

ssh, ftp and mail should work by now.

1st of June will arrive one fix and four DHCP addresses (that are very much static).

This PPPoE is a nightmare for services as polarhome :(
Regards,
Z
