Polarhome IRC Issue

Postby sjaz » Thu Jul 13, 2006 9:06 am

I am aware of an issue in that users cannot connect to the polarhome irc server. This was caused by an apparent crash, and now solaris refuses to start the process again. I am currently rebuilding the ircd, and we shall see how things progress.

Well, considering the ircd runs on redhat, playing on solaris didn't help.

Quota issue affecting me on redhat now, should be fixed soon, and we're cooking.

hi,

all this mess is caused because of quotas. They were corrupted on redhat and chaz's quota was fell back to default.

Quickly fixed by the zoliman, and a quick reshuffle on my part and we were online again. Would have helped if I was on the correct server to start with though! Too many beers ... not enough sleep ...

I see no problem Z. Do you get an error?

I haven't forgotten about my report to you regarding access, but I'm having a bit of a time at home right now, and struggling for time.
