Disk Quota malfunction?

Postby smiller » Tue Dec 02, 2008 12:46 am

Hello gentlemen, my disk quota seems to be messed up somehow. I try to wget a file and I get the error:
Code: Select all
hdb1: write failed, user file limit reached.
weechat-0.2.6.tar.bz2: Disk quota exceeded

Cannot write to `weechat-0.2.6.tar.bz2' (Disk quota exceeded).

When I run quota I get this:
Code: Select all
Disk quotas for user smiller (uid 15498):
Filesystem  blocks   quota   limit   grace   files   quota   limit   grace
      /dev/hda1      20       0    5000               2       0     500
      /dev/hdb1 1346789206*      0  100000         1852141783*      0    5000

Any idea how to fix?

Hello,

Yes, there is just one way to fix this - to run quotacheck :)

I have corrected the quotas, that from time to time become corrupt for some reason.

Code: Select all
Disk quotas for user smiller (uid 15498):
Filesystem  blocks   quota   limit   grace   files   quota   limit   grace
      /dev/hda1      20       0    5000               2       0     500
      /dev/hdb1      52       0  100000              18       0    5000

This kind of issues are handeled faster through support@polarhome.com

Enjoy.
