hmm,
1USD = 56 pesos so ... 2 USD = 112 pesos

or

10 pesos(lowest paper bank note available here) * 10 (10 local currency units) = 100 pesos

so which amount do i pay? the 112 pesos or the 100 pesos? or someone correct me pls.

112pesos [2usd] would be the correct amount
