Phpbb or invision board like this one

hello,,
i am new to polarhome. I want to host a phpBB forum or an invision board forum on polarboard. Now both of these need php and mysql installed on the server and fortunately polarhome has both.
I am using ftp : gate.polarhome.com

do i upload all the files in public_html (these are php files) and what do i do with sql files , if i upload them along with the php files in the same place will the work, or do i have to do something special for these files which need a mysql database??

Hey,

You should put the php files in you public_html and then in a folder like forum..
You have to load the .sql files in you phpmyadmin, you can find on the polarhome homepage.. so you need a mysql db...

then everything should work, if you have the right prefs in you forumboard...
