Personal web pages on OpenVMS/VAX

Postby papa » Thu Dec 10, 2015 3:15 pm

My new account comes with a PUBLIC_HTML directory with a default INDEX.HTML, but when I point my browser at http://www.polarhome.com:703/~papa I get:

Code: Select all
ERROR 404  -  The requested resource could not be found.
Additional information:  1xx,  2xx,  3xx,  4xx,  5xx,  help

WASD/10.3.0 Server at vax.polarhome.com Port 80

I tried setting protection on PUBLIC_HTML.DIR to allow read and execute for group and world, but the result is the same.

Ahhh this must be some config issue after the WASD upgrade.
I was focusing on making http://www.polarhome.com:703/conan the HELP pages working.

I'll look at it... but this is really a low priority. I guess you are the only user who plan to run a web page on VAX/WASD.

BTW- your alpha is very soon back.
Regards,
Z
