Man pages ( http://www.polarhome.com/service/man/ ) FAQ collected from answers to questions that I have got recently regarding the man pages

Q: how many man pages are hosted?
A: It is possible to count manually too as every chosen OS shows how many man pages are related to a particular OS.
As per today there are 419299 pages from 36 different OSes.

Q: are all man pages from an OS extracted?
A: No, just those that are installed on polarhome systems. There might be much more man pages from a particular OS if all additional packages and softwares are installed.

Q: Are all these OS-es available for polarhome users for shell access?
A: Unfortunately, not - because of low interest or high licence fees or special hardware requirement.
